1. Who is T.M. Hoff Handmade?
At T.M. Hoff Handmade, we design, manufacture and sell innovative, beautiful and functional accessories for your home and garden. What began in 1988 as a small pottery studio has expanded to include a variety of new materials and techniques. But our handmade roots have never been forgotten – much of our work continues to be done by talented hands. We hope that you enjoy our products. They are the result of a happy collaboration of dedicated people.

2. I’d like to see the pieces in person. How can I find a local retailer?
Our products are available in many fine stores across the US. Send us your zip code and we’ll try to find a retailer in your area. If we’re unable to locate a retailer near you, please use our secure, online ordering service.

3. I have a store. How can I access the wholesale portion of your site?
You’ll need to provide us with your business name, address and tax identification number. Then you’ll get a code which will allow access. 

4. How quickly do you ship?
In stock items usually ship within one week.

5. Do you charge sales tax?
Only on orders placed in New York. 

6. Some items are backordered. When will they ship?
Backordered items generally ship with 2 weeks. If there will be any additional delays, we’ll let you know via email. 

7. If I place an order, when will my credit card be charged?
Your card is not charged until your order is ready to ship. We charge only for what ships. Backorders are charged separately, when they ship. 

8. I’d like to send an item as a gift. Will you include a gift tag?
Yes, just let us know what you’d like to say, and we’ll include a gift tag with your sentiments.

9. I received a damaged shipment. What should I do?
Contact us immediately. You may need to hang on to the damaged shipment for inspection. Credit or replacement will be made as quickly as possible. 

10. Can I return an item?
Yes, items can be returned within thirty days of purchase, provided they are in like new condition. You’ll need to pack it securely and include a copy of your invoice in the box. We suggest that you insure it for its full value. Once we receive it, we’ll credit your charge card or issue a refund check, based on your original form of payment. Sorry, but we don’t accept COD or collect return deliveries. 

11. Can I get extra parts?
Yes. All of our products have easily replaceable parts. Just let us know what you need.

12. Are your products guaranteed?
Yes, they are. All of our products have a lifetime guarantee. If anything goes wrong, return the damaged piece to us along with a copy of your invoice, and we’ll repair or replace it. We suggest you insure the item for the full purchase price. Sorry, but we don’t accept COD or collect return deliveries. 

13. I’ve lost my instructions! Can I get a copy?
Yes. Installation and assembly instructions for the Clearview Window Thermometer and the Plant Hanger are available for download. See the individual item for details. 

14. Are your thermometers available in Celsius?
Not at this time. Please check back—we’re working on it!
